Founded in 1986, Hobbyland started soon to focus on the distribution of products for creative hobbies which were innovative for the Italian market, but well-known in other countries (USA and other European countries). In 1996 the company launched the Proglass© trademark, specific for the artistic glass working market, which immediately became a market leader. In 1997 the CREA© trademark was added, which is centred on the research, production and commercialization of products for home-hobby and semi-professional supplies.
We were among the first to believe in the so-called 'creative hobby' and we are proud of being among the pioneers of this market. Our catalogues were for a long time the only 'lights' in the dark of the Italian scene. Today, many people have undertaken a path which is rich in satisfactions and profits, and, in some way, we feel like we were the promoters of this increasing trend. |
