BLAKITE - REFRACTORY PASTE

Pre-blended refractory mix with high refractoriness.

• Ideal for sealing, grouting, and creating small molds.
• Has excellent water retention properties.
• Specially formulated for the installation of insulating refractory bricks, but can also be used for masonry with dense silico-aluminous refractory bricks with a high alumina content.
• Dark gray in color.
• Recommended for applications up to 1650°C.
• Supplied in a consistency suitable for seals or trowel application. To achieve a consistency suitable for dipping, add about 5% water (by weight).
• This mix is suitable as the sole binder in installations where insulating refractory bricks and dense refractory bricks are used.
