- This plastic shrinks by 50% when exposed to a heat source, becoming thicker and more compact.
- Sheets are easily machined, using scissors, cutters or punching dies.
- Sheets can be coloured before shrinking, using felt-tipped pens, coloured pencils or stamp inks.
- Shrinking can be achieved by placing the sheets in an oven heated to 120°C for 2-3 minutes. The object can be modelled while still warm.
