MEKP CATALYST

MEKP Catalyst is a mixture of Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide and non-phthalate phlegmatizers, characterized by low viscosity and safe use. It is used as a reaction catalyst for unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester products, both resins and gel coats.

Instructions for use

• Add the MEKP Catalyst to the resins and gel coats followed by homogeneous mixing.
• If accelerators are also used, it is essential to add the two products separately, making sure to mix well after adding the first one.
• Typical dosage: 0.7-2%.

Storage     

• Store at temperatures between 5 and 30°C.
• Keep away from moisture, heat sources, and direct sunlight.

Safety advice

• Wear gloves and a mask with suitable filter during the mixture.
• Do not disperse the residues into the environment.
• Dispose of the product at an authorized reclaimer.
