ETCHING GROUND BALL CHARBONNEL - SOFT BLACK

This matte black paint cone provides a solid base for engraving.

The paint does not dry and allows for soft lines and textural effects.

The engraving base is best applied on warm plates with a leather pad or roller. As a soft base, it is possible to use the pencil method to create imprints on the plate.

To use the pencil method, apply a light sheet of paper onto the prepared plate. Then, use a hard pencil to draw your design. When the paper is removed, it will take with it the pressed lines of the base, leaving the design on the plate.
