Water-soluble powder colors are ideal for wood coloring. Thanks to their good light stability, they are compatible with water-based varnish products. They can be mixed together to achieve intermediate shades.
Dissolve 1 to 2 parts of color in 100 parts of hot water to obtain the desired shade.
Stir well, ensuring the color is completely dissolved.
Before use, test on a hidden part or scrap wood to check color intensity.
Apply preferably with a brush, following the grain direction of the wood.
Before the color dries, use a damp sponge to even out the color.
Allow to dry for at least 4 hours.
For optimal results, repeat the coats.
